Office Manager | Registered Dental Hygienist
Jen is the office manager and a hygienist at SoJo Dental. With over 25 years of experience, she is known for her clear communication, calm demeanor and commitment to helping patients feel confident and well taken care of.
Jen loves developing relationships with patients and enjoys seeing how better oral health can boost their self-confidence. She values our team environment and is fortunate to work with such amazing patients daily.
Outside the office, you will find her camping, hunting, enjoying the outdoors or at a concert!

Ashlyn
Receptionist | Dental Assistant
A South Jordan native, Ashlyn has been drawn to dentistry since childhood and has spent the last five years helping patients feel comfortable and cared for. She especially enjoys relieving pain and improving patient comfort. She loves the supportive team at SoJo Dental and the strong relationships they have built with each other and their patients. Her calm, empathetic approach helps put people at ease.
Outside the office, Ashlyn enjoys traveling, spending time with loved ones and going to the gym. She is also working on prerequisites for dental hygiene school to continue growing in the field she loves.

Katie
Financial | Insurance Manager
Katie is the financial and insurance manager at SoJo Dental and has been in the dental field for nearly 10 years. A native of Herriman, she got her start in dentistry after attending dental assistant school.
Katie prefers to stay busy, navigating patients through their financial pathways, understanding their insurance benefits, and supporting the staff in any capacity she can. She is known for her empathy and genuine interest in every patient’s story, always striving to make them feel heard and understood.
A self-described proud 49ers fan, Katie also enjoys camping with her family in Duchesne and spending time at the range; she is an avid marksman and is not shy about it!

Michele
Registered Dental Hygienist
Michele is a registered dental hygienist with 25 years of experience. She was drawn to dentistry as a child, always liking the feeling of freshly cleaned teeth. She now strives to provide each patient with the same care and quality that she has adopted as her standard.
Michele loves building rapport with patients and creating a warm, welcoming environment. At SoJo Dental, she appreciates being part of a collaborative team and discovering each patient’s uniqueness.
When she is not working, Michele enjoys hitting the golf course, skiing Utah’s slopes and cheering on her two sons as they play football at Georgetown!

Katana
Registered Dental Hygienist
Katana is a registered dental hygienist originally from Gilbert, Arizona. Inspired by her dentist uncle and a lifelong love of smiling, she was drawn to dentistry as a way to help others feel confident in their smiles.
With over five years of experience, Katana is known for her warm, nonjudgmental approach and the ability to build easy rapport with patients. She loves the fun, supportive team at SoJo Dental and the chance to build genuine relationships with patients.
A former basketball player and sports enthusiast, Katana loves spending time with her husband and their dog, reading and being with family and friends. Fun fact: she was named after a Japanese sword!

Karolee
Registered Dental Hygienist
Born and raised in Salt Lake City, Karolee found her passion for dentistry while working as a dental assistant. Driven by a desire to help others and find a meaningful, balanced career, she returned to school and has now worked in the field for 30 years – 15 of those as a hygienist. Karolee loves connecting with patients and helping them achieve their best oral health. She values the strong team dynamic at SoJo Dental and enjoys working alongside a staff that truly cares about each patient. She is known for building rapport through shared experiences and helping patients feel at ease with her friendly, down-to-earth approach.
Outside the office, you will find Karolee hiking, trail running in the mountains, traveling or spending time with her four grown kids—who once took the spotlight with her on the reality show, “Supernanny”.

Sarah
Registered Dental Hygienist
Sarah is a registered dental hygienist with nine years of experience in the dental field. From Florida originally, she was attracted to dentistry by a need to make a positive contribution and help her community.
With her friendly demeanor, Sarah takes the time to really listen to her patients and make them feel at ease and cared for during their appointments. She appreciates the camaraderie at SoJo Dental and values establishing long-term relationships with her patients.
In her free time, Sarah remains busy hiking with her dog, watching reality television and instructing at a dental hygiene school in Orem!

Payton
Registered Dental Hygienist
Payton is a lefty registered dental hygienist from Idaho Falls, Idaho, who enjoys helping people attain the smile they want. She has been in the dental field for over five years and is well known for making her patients feel comfortable in a welcoming, non-judgmental setting.
At SoJo Dental, Payton loves being part of a compassionate, energetic team. She always smiles when greeting patients and is happy to make each visit a positive one.
Payton enjoys time outside, playing basketball, listening to music and spending time with family and friends.

Cambree
Dental Assistant
Cambree is a dental assistant from West Valley, Utah, who has always had a passion for the medical field. She started dentistry through a family connection and fell in love with it. She is now working to attend dental hygiene school.
With her experience, Cambree enjoys putting her skills to use to improve oral health for patients. She is amazingly helpful and strives to make each patient visit simple and stress-free. She is happy to have found the welcoming team and cozy environment at SoJo Dental.
She is most known for going the extra mile for her patients to help them feel at ease, and her warm smile and can-do attitude. Outside of work, Cambree is a cheerleader at Salt Lake Community College!

Melanie
Dental Assistant
Melanie is a dental assistant from Ogden, Utah, who launched her dental career thanks to a close friend, and has never looked back! Four years later, she enjoys getting to know patients and learning something new every day.
At SoJo Dental, Melanie values the friendships with the team and the freedom to keep growing professionally. Patients appreciate her caring and thoughtful personality, she treats them the way she’d want to be treated.
During her spare time, Melanie likes to spend time with her grandchildren and also works at the Spaghetti Factory!

Kenna
Registered Dental Hygienist
Kenna grew up in Bluffdale, Utah and now lives in Herriman, where her passion for dentistry began at just 17 years old. Feeling called to the profession early on, she started as a dental assistant in high school and spent five years working in pediatric and orthodontic offices while completing her education in dental hygiene.
Kenna has been a dental hygienist for two years and loves educating patients about oral health while building lasting relationships. She enjoys meeting new people every day and helping patients feel confident and informed about their care. Her favorite part of working at SoJo Dental is the supportive team and the happy, peaceful environment they create together.
Outside of work, Kenna is an avid reader—finishing around 50 books a year—and loves cooking, traveling and music of all kinds. She is an enthusiastic concertgoer, attending 15 plus concerts each year. Patients might be surprised to learn she is the only redhead in her entire family. Known for her compassionate, patient-first approach, Kenna helps patients feel comfortable by meeting them where they are, listening closely to their concerns and always putting their needs first

Heidi
Registered Dental Hygienist
Originally from Boise, Idaho, Heidi found her way into dentistry after high school while exploring a path into healthcare. She began her career in dental assisting, quickly discovering a love for the dental field and deciding to take the next step by becoming a hygienist. Heidi worked as a dental assistant for seven years and has now spent 22 years as a dental hygienist.
She enjoys getting to know her patients and values the relationships she builds while addressing their individual concerns. Her favorite part of working at SoJo Dental is the amazing people she gets to work with each day.
Outside the office, Heidi plays roller derby and travels to other states competing with her team. Patients may be surprised to learn that she also travels solo to underdeveloped countries. Known for her thoughtful, patient-centered approach, Heidi helps patients feel comfortable by listening closely, understanding their needs and tailoring care to each individual.

Sophia
Registered Dental Hygienist
Originally from California, Sophia was drawn to dentistry after growing up with consistently positive dental experiences and wanting to provide that same welcoming, comfortable care to others.
She has been in the dental field for four years and loves connecting with patients and helping them feel confident about their smiles. Sophia especially values the culture at SoJo Dental, sharing that the strong relationships with both her team and patients make coming to work truly enjoyable.
Outside of the office, Sophia enjoys reading, going to Pilates and spending time with her husband and their fur baby, Lottie. Patients might be surprised to learn that her family has roots in Australia and Greece. Known for her friendly, upbeat approach, Sophia creates a calm, judgment-free environment by explaining each step, checking in often and making sure every patient feels heard and at ease.
